  They are required in packaging materials, to protect packaged products and to bring them the following properties:
    • Waterproofing and other liquids barrier properties.
    • Suitable vapour water, gases and odour barrier properties.
    • Adhesive characteristics both in hot and in cold conditions.
    • Thermosealing, gloss and structural resistance properties.
    • Grease, abrasion and weathering action resistance properties.
    • Slip or anti-slip properties.
